Okay, I was quite surprised to find the majority of folks (that replied anyway) agree with me on the no-shoes policy for piano playing. So I'll make it easy for those who won't reply. ;)

Date: 2005-11-03 05:08 am (UTC)My answer is other, because it really depends on the shoes. Once I was playing something at church and I had to remove my shoe to do it right, but then the entire time I was distracted by the fact that I was wearing one shoe and not the other. So the new rule is: both shoes or no shoes. But I would say that having a shoe sometimes helps, as long as it doesn't hinder. :) That's very clear, isn't it?
