Jessica is cool because we've got the same brain type, yeah. ;-) But really, she is cool. She doesn't know how cool she is.

[livejournal.com profile] pansyprincess:
Jessica is an ornament to my friends page. I love how honest and down-to-earth she is, and her quirky sense of humor that always puts a smile on my face. The world needs more Jessicas!!

[livejournal.com profile] this_is_warmth:
I've known Jessica for a long time. You might say that I love her the purplest. :) It's good to see her walking and growing closer to God.

[livejournal.com profile] danialand:
Jessica is very giving and kind. She always remembers details about the little things we talk about. She is a good listener, and a great friend to me. Jessica draws well and sings well. She devotes a lot of time to others and is very caring. She is my favorite person to travel with, and my favorite person to have random conversations with.

[livejournal.com profile] blackswans:
Yay for Jessica! She's just so... fascinating! She's honest, she's real, she loves God, and she writes sooooooo awesomely about little things! Give us [livejournal.com profile] moredetails whenever you want, Jessica!

Jessica has truly been a blessing in my life--whether it was through our phone calls, text messages, emails, or LiveJournal interaction. I remember one time I was having an especially bad day, and I posted about wanting to throw a "pity party" for myself. I got a lot of sympathy from everyone, and forgot about my silliness. Imagine my surprise later that week when a package arrived from CA with the Lovely Miss Jessica's return address on it--containing all the supplies needed to throw a true party, not a pity party! How thoughtful is that?!

I love you, Jessica!

Jessica has been a great friend for many years now (wow, I know it has been over 9 now since she knew be pre-pregnancy with Ashleigh days)...
She's a great listener and insightful in many ways.
She's seen me through a lot of tough times and was always there with an encouraging word.

[livejournal.com profile] laraemily:
Jessica is the best cuz ever! She takes time to think of others through little gifts, cards, thoughts, words of encouragement, prayer...the list could honestly go on and on. I am blessed to know her and hope this birthday is a wonderful one!

[livejournal.com profile] lajea:
Jessica is such a blessing! Plus, she's SO fun and comes up with the most creative things. I'm always more than a little awe struck.

:)

[livejournal.com profile] kellchecker:
Jessica really sells herself short; she doesn't realize how much she's loved and cared for by...pretty much everyone who knows her.

[livejournal.com profile] unpoedic:
(Thank you for being there.)

Happy birthday, Jess. I'm so glad to know you. I hope you have a great day!
Overcast skies!! What can I say...I'm not native to this desert, just a transplant. I adore cloudy days, and love it even more when it actually rains. :D

I know that I'm going to hear complaints when I get to work though. I'm like the only smart one in the bunch. ;)

Here's a thought for you. Overcast skies are like rough spots in our lives. It may be darker, but despite that, we know that the sun is shining...it's just hidden momentarily (yes, momentarily. What's a few days or weeks or even years in eternity?). Just because we can't see Him, or don't think we can see His hand doesn't mean He's not there, and just think! The sun will come out!

I feel all cliche-y today. It's probably good that I can't post from work...

Surprising friends!! I love the anticipation of surprises. *beams*
Junk e-mail cracks me up sometimes. I got one this morning with a subject line of, "Can you call John on Thursday?"

Um, yeah. Sure.

Our computer network isn't quite working right. We can access files and everything like that, but we can't connect to the internet via the network. *sigh* Such trials.

Migraine's not gone, but it's barely there, which in my happy little mind amounts to the same thing right now.

And now? To work.
Whoo-hoo! Hilary said that she can help me make cookies! First we put in the eggs. Hilary tells me to give it two bangs on the bowl, then put my thumbs in and pry it open, she even shows me with one. I think it would work better if I banged it five or six times. Oops! It opened and fell into the bowl!

A picture's worth a thousand words, right? )
