I've finally gotten around to posting the results from our game, it sure seems like a lot longer than a week and a half since I posted the poll though.

Okay! We have two categories of winners. 1. Those who guessed the most correctly in the poll, and 2. those who had the most convincing lies.

Of course, I had no doubts that moredetails would once again bring home the prize. This girl has 'smart' written all over her!

We had 29 people to guess on (she had 28, since she didn't guess her own), and she got 18 out of 28! You're amazing, Jessica! :D

7 sirjake has never done a chin-up in his life. He's probably too tall.

9 kellchecker didn't get her driver's liscense when she was 19...she was 21 (me too!).

10 beth3070...either her family is long-suffering and just endures her snores or she doesn't really snore that loudly. ;)
10 kebhouse doesn't count that first cup of coffee as a little pleasure in life.

11 hollys_reading doesn't have a scar from the paper cutter.
11 jmcphers wasn't really all that ambitious about finding uranium when he was a kid.
11 krikketgirl doesn't really read 500 words per minute...she does 600 or more!

12 chrysalis91 hasn't been to a Newsboys concert.
12 patrick___, otherwise known as Mr. Smart, had the coolest entry I think. :) The statement in the middle is the lie was the lie.

13 ruthette didn't really break her nose in a bike accident.
13 write4jesus isn't really an award-winning basketball player.

14 aftondays didn't impress a local news anchor after all.
14 this_is_warmth's daughter Tristen has not been in a commercial.

18 cafemusique wasn't the last to enter the game. I had quite a time trying to decide which would be trickier...to put his last, or not. I guess I'll never know...

20 misshoneybee didn't have an ancestor named Strengthen...as far as she knows. ;)

Ack, so many people guessed mine right! :P
I just made up that name, Strengthen, thinking it sounded like something someone back then might use . . . but apparently it didn't. ;) We do have some odd names back there, though, like Truthshallprevayl.

(You're right, though, Holly, maybe we *did* have an ancestor named that and we don't know it. I guess I should have said what you did, so far as we know, since even the ones that we do have recorded in our family tree might not be right. My sister dug up a lot of the stuff from online, and while she does a good job at it, it's probably not perfect.)
