I was already posting my boring life online at another site (http://cafemusique.mydeardiary.com/). I didn't like the interface all that much, and I was attracted by the security of being able to friends-lock.

I ended up buying a 2-month paid account, since I didn't know anybody who used LJ to give me an invite code.

Pretty boring.
