Well, by the grace of God, I don't have a party until next Saturday. This is a Very Good Thing, since a coworker unwillingly shared a little bug with me....hopefully it'll leave quickly, and nobody at home will get it. I'm also thankful that my last two days of work (and this one also) are short days.

I am really looking forward to starting The Great Divorce this evening. mairesue and I are going to be reading it together...Yay!

I don't see how someone can loose the 'quota' of hair a day (100, isn't it?) and still have thick hair. I figure I definitely lose at least that much. Aren't you glad I told you? Maybe if I kept my hands out of my hair....heh...that'll be the day.

Those roses mom cut for me a few weeks ago dried in the little pitcher, and are just as lovely as they were fresh.

I haven't done the comment thing for a couple weeks...so maybe I'll be different and list everyone who had four or more...

My paid account expires next week...I'm seriously considering getting extra pics when I renew, which is funny, because I never thought I would. :) What can I say. I've been bitten by the bug....er, the LJ bug...

Well the hair thing is like an evergreen tree - constantly loosing but also constantly replacing. And considering you have thousands upon thousands of hairs it all works out nicely. It is kind of scary to think that in a week you can loose 1000 hairs though (you loose 50-150 a day).

Extra pics is a must - look at all the cute user icons I have now that I have 100! I wouldn't be able to show Jonathan off anywhere near as much if I only had 15.

the great divorce is seriously an amazing book.

speaking of good old clive staples lewis, i tried buying another copy of mere christianity today from family christian stores, and the lady told me they'd clearanced it out, and they won't be carrying it anymore, and she couldn't even order it for me. what the @%#$!%%# are they thinking???!!! it's a christian CLASSIC!!! is the general trend to dumb everything down so no one has to actually think about their faith anymore?

what good is faith taht you don't have to struggle through? how do you know if it's really faith if there aren't struggles?

oh well. just my two cents.

I was complaining about my hair falling out too. Its gross - so I am wearing it in a pony tail all the time now.

I have wondered the same thing about my thick hair as well. I think I probably lose more than 100 a day but it's still thick as ever! Weirdness.
