Praying for Dawn update.

Thank you so much for your promise of prayer. This is a great encouragement not only to me, but also to Dawn, who saw the original post yesterday. This is what she said:

Oh God I wish I could reach out and hug and kiss everyone of you. I wish I could meet you all. Do you have any idea how much this has helped me? So many times I feel so alone but not anymore...not after this!

Father, thank you for this beautiful blessing of true Christian love and prayer. You do indeed make beauty from ashes. Thank you Lord for Your perfect beauty. Thank you Lord for Your perfect love. Bless all these children Lord with Your love. I will continualy shout Your name and praise You as my Lord and Saviour. I pray the name of Jesus be the first words on our lips in the morning and the last thought in our hearts at night. I love you Jesus. Praise Your Holy name. Randomness

I'm working the 11:15am-7:15pm shift this week, and it makes me feel busy and rushed. That bugs me. The rushed part, not the busy.

I'm posting now because my internet connection is Very Slow, and I can type half a dozen words while waiting for my pages to load. It makes for slow going when you have a bunch of emails to reply to and many LJ entries to read.

I was going to say something here, but now I can't remember what it was.

I like to have co-workers who notice when you're not feeling that great. It makes me feel cozy.

There should always be plenty of potatoes left over from dinner when they taste as good as they did tonight.

Hilary and I went to see the Community College/Local's production of The Music Man on Saturday. It was fantastic!! I didn't expect to be impressed, but I was. I want to go again. One cool thing was that we knew someone who was in it. He was the bass in the Barber Shop Quartet, he goes to our Church and teaches at the local Christian school (where Heidi used to teach). The gal who played Marion the Librarian had an Amazing voice. Wow. And the man who played Prof. Hill? His speaking voice sounded almost identical to Richard Preston! I kid you not.

Now I lost my connection altogether. I shall go check and see what Daddy's computer is up to.

Not to seem like a copy-cat, but somebody added hugs to my counter which I find quite sweet.

I wish I had my voice completely back. It makes singing...different.

When filling out moredetails' poll about how you pronounce 'details' I found myself saying 'moredetails' instead of just 'details'.

Oh. I must remember to renew my paid subscription and extra pics.

Sometimes when I have to do that "Match the characters to the picture" thing for security and stuff, I mistake a squiggly line for a letter and they don't like me.

I keep spelling things weird. Maybe I should retype this and leave in my mistakes. That would be entertaining.

Okay this is getting longish, so I'll leave you to it. Whatever 'it' is. For me, 'it' will be finishing getting things ready to deliver for a Tastefully Simple party that I'm not doing, but am providing samples and things for. I hope the hostess gets better, she came down with a flu bug yesterday, and the party is on Thursday...
