It makes me feel dumb to say this but...

...I'm ready to have this baby so I can sleep again! I don't remember having this much trouble sleeping when I was pregnant with Symeon. Insomnia I can do without, thank you very much!

You get to a point where you want to do away with the old discomforts and get some new ones.

Sorry, I snickered at this when I saw it. Life with a 2 year old and just about 1 year old leaves me longing for sleep some days!

:) I bet! Bryan looked at me funny when I told him and he told me that I wouldn't be sleeping later either.

haha. Actually, I can understand completely! Those last few weeks are so uncomfortable.

Bryan's wisdom........
The thing then will be of course, that you'll be longing for *time* to sleep, but you'll have traded that for baby sweetness and little big brother's activity.
And you'll be RICH, having a husband, a family, a home, all this PLUS sleepiness :) bless you.

With our six I used to think that one day in the distant future I'd be able to sleep as long as I wanted, but that didn't happen of course, for as you'd guess, by then my body was no longer young enough to let me sleep on.
Mothers! I respect yours with such a family.

I smiled when I read your post. I think, no, I KNOW, that when the baby comes you will just be trading in one from of sleep deprivation for another! You gotta love those 3 am feedings, and then 6 am .....if you are lucky and GET to sleep that long :) oh, but they grow so quickly and you miss their sweet baby smiles while they nurse.

I have always felt that I sleep better once the baby is born...and have heard several other moms of multiple kids say the same! I know every child and every family is different, but I just don't think it's true across the board that a newborn will make you lose sleep!

oops...
